Here are a few of the recent conversations my lovely mother and I have had recently, I'm pretty sure you can guess why we are not a homeschooling family. PS, we are both actually pretty smart...
Mom-"We have 20 boxes of 24 crayons each so that is like... 60,000 crayons!!!"
Me- "Omg I feel so bad, I cut Addis' nail down to the wick"
Mom- "You mean quick?"
Me- "Uhh no I am pretty sure I mean wick mom!"
Mom while helping Jackson with his homework- "A castaway is a person who hides in the plane to get a free ride to America."
Me- "Uhh that's a stowaway"
Me- "Well if it is in 4 days then that means it is a week from tomorrow right?"

Dude! This is so me and my kid's. My husband just makes fun of me. He say's "and your the one with the master's degree". The other day I did something really stupid (can't even remember what it was now) and he said I want my money back!!! Call them now and tell them we want a refund. I was like "Who?" He said the school you graduated from.
We were just talking about this the other day at work. It even has a name...."mothers fog" or something like that. You loose your brain when you are raising kids (or being a good big sis, Miranda).I am hoping that I will regain some brain cells someday when the kids are gone.:)
Miss you guys. Give Addis a big kiss from her Auntie Amy and future hubby.
You crayon coloring, finger nail cutting, stowaways... we do homeschool and I still feel like there are days I couldn't find my way out of a paper bag. I think these kids are stealing my IQ points every night as I attempt to sleep.
Thank God for school :) Poor kids LOL I know how it feels too. I have a lot of these moments here too.
Home schoolomg is NOT for me . Love the kids to death but when I see the yellow bus I am a happy mom:) Not ready for Ava to leave yet though !
who's jackson? did i miss something?
I'm really cracking up! I agree with Gina -- I think kids steal your IQ. I only hope I get mine back when they're grown!
Oh my word, I swear with each addition to the family, you lose more and more of your brain...i defiantly am! It is pretty entertaining though;)
Yup, I am already beginning to think I wasted a lot of money on a college education. I am losing my memory and my brain cells at a very rapid pace!
P.S. Hope all goes well with Addis tomorrow! Hugs all around!
60000 crayons....wonder if that would work with money? :)
I keep telling everyone that I can't remember anything anymore. Dave looks at me and asks when it was that I could....
OMG I am crying I am laughing so hard!! You all are hysterical!! The kids book can help us too!!!
