Adorable

Jax lost his first tooth since being in America and we taught him about the tooth fairy. He was so so excited to wake up and get his money. He got up at about 6 AM and screamed "Awesome", (Thanks Gina's family). He claimed to have seen her, that she did in fact look like Tinkerbell and Addis saw her too. Then he asked, "But Mom, why does she likes the teeth?" It was the funniest thing in the world. And then he tried to give me his 3$ to buy a present for Mom. I was actually going to post this a few days after the picture post, but I felt compelled to do it ASAP as Malia's Momma called me out. Jax is doing well, I think he is just having a lot of grief about the people he left behind in Ethiopia. He doesn't know how to cope and sometimes lashes out at us. We are really working hard at showing how much he can hurt us and his little fits are farer and fewer in between. He is on a basketball team and has an amazing coach who is doing a lot of one on one work with him. He is going to go get dreads or twists or something next weekend, I'm so excited! He has been being really really affectionate towards his baby sister which just over joys me. He threw a hissy fit last night, and had to come shopping with us for 3 hours and by the end had apologized and was in a great mood. It's hard work, but I love him.

I am so happy to hear that Jackson is making big strides in adjusting. It must be really hard to go through everything he has at his age. You have a beautiful family! Can't wait until Vivi Eyeuru (sp?) is there too!

That's Awesome! HA. I think Josh is really missing Ethiopia too. I find him on the computer on You tube watching Ethiopian videos ALL the time. It's like he's desperate to have a connection to his country, the language, his past. I worry that perhaps he's so stuck in the past, that he's having a hard time fitting in here in the present, and definitely is not able to see the future. I'm not sure what else to do. Yeah for the tooth fairy!

Oh thank goodness! I was starting to worry about RAD, but since you are making great strides, that now seems unlikely. The dreds/twists will be good for identity. May you continue to be blessed.
